Tahoe is where I live, where I get outside and where I’ve spent more than two decades welcoming guests. What I enjoy most is helping people find their own connection to this place—a paddle along the shore, a trail they haven’t explored or an evening together with nowhere else they need to be.
My family’s hospitality story began at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort in 1978. I led the resort from 2004 to 2025, and one of our greatest sources of pride was seeing guests return year after year.
We loved bringing people together through music, shared meals and time on the water. We also understood that hosting in the mountains meant being someone guests could count on, including when a snowstorm changed their plans. That dedication came naturally to us: we live here and love this mountain life.
Today, I’m carrying that spirit forward through Mourelatos Lake Properties, our family collection of four North Shore homes.
Each home offers something different. The Lake House puts you right by the water, with a pier for taking in the view. Tahoe Retreat offers a base for exploring and a hot tub to come back to. The Warm Guest House is a cozy escape for two, while Skyland brings people together around lake views and fireside evenings.
My hope is that you’ll find the home that fits your visit—and feel comfortable asking for help along the way. Whether you’re choosing a property or looking for ideas for your stay, I’m happy to share what I know.
When I’m outside myself, you might find me hiking, backpacking, skiing, boating or kayaking. There’s always another reason to get out and enjoy Tahoe, even after all these years.
Being part of Tahoe means caring about its future, too. My community work has included serving on the North Tahoe Public Utility District board, supporting local philanthropy and taking leadership roles in Kings Beach and Placer County’s short-term rental discussions. I believe welcoming visitors and caring for the people who live here go hand in hand.
Before leading the resort, I spent 18 years with Accenture, leaving as an Associate Partner. I also earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. That background helps me manage the practical side of hospitality; the personal side comes from loving this place and sharing it with others.
Whether we’ve known each other for years or this will be your first stay, I look forward to welcoming you.
